Safety at the Heart of the Race
At ACL, safety is truly at the heart of our philosophy. Yes, we want you to ride around, discover the world, participate in competitions, and take over the roads with any vehicle. And yet, we’ll always be here to support you and make sure it all goes well.
That’s why this year, we proudly joined the Škoda Tour de Luxembourg as an official safety partner.
Being part of such an important national event felt like fulfilling one of our main missions: raising awareness around road safety and putting it into action, side by side with other key actors.
Throughout the tour, our team brought safety closer to the public in different ways:
We set up two bicycle check stations open to everyone, because road safety is not only about the rider – it’s also about having a safe vehicle, and that applies to amateurs just as much as to professionals.
With our e-cargo bike, we accompanied the peloton at times, while also distributing safety vests to spectators along the route.
And for the final stage in Limpertsberg, we created a lively ACL Village, featuring a traffic safety training parcours for children, interactive activities, and much more fun!
One of the highlights: the ACL Balance Bike Race, where kids got to race the last 75 meters on the official course, just like the pros.
It was a great experience, but above all, it was important. Safety is effective only when all actors work together, and partnerships like this one make a real difference.
